Really enjoyed this distinctive Burgundian style Chardonnay from Dutton Estate. Yellow wheat in color, it offered good structure, medium body with notes of toasted almonds balanced with tropical fruit acidity. Tasted great with Sicilian seasoned swordfish.

Pale yellow in color and sporting nice aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, this light-to-medium-bodied, round Chardonnay offers a touch of creamy oak to complement its flavors (which mirror the nose). The wine's 14.5% alcohol remains nicely integrated throughout the middle but shows some heat on the medium-length back end. Served well-chilled, it should pass muster with most imbibers at a cocktail or dinner party. Drink now-2019.
