Black cherry core to a thin red rim. On the nose, black cherry, black plum, dark roast beef, toasted malt, black raspberry stout, black pepper and blackberry jam. The palate is fresh and young with more of the black cherry, black grape jam, dried black raspberry and porter thing going on with a hint of garrigue and leafiness. Did I mention that the wine is very black? Wow. Hold for a couple years... I'll come back to it tomorrow.
