Honestly this a little hard to describe but it's very good. Mendocino as an AVA is all above 1200 feet and gets cool days and warm nights, so a little different and vines get a more constant environment. Winemaker says black tea (?). Oregon-esque. Less than 100 cases made.

Ruby colored with ripe raspberry and ocean, indicative of the site's location perched on a ridge above the Pacific in Mendocino County. I would guess it will pick-up earth-notes with age.
