Fourrier theme lunch at Maison Dakota. Drank in Grassl Cru. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of fragrant earth, wild forest berries and flowers, dark red cherries, strawberries, spices (?whole bunches). Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of wild forest berries, lots of spiciness, dark red cherries, strawberries, earth and salt. Long spicy finish. Very good quality. Still can develop and improve. If drank blind I would not have guessed 2011. Arnaud has significantly reducing new wood here I think? I hardly feel any oak signature here at all.

In drinking window, cooked red fruits, some cedar, truffle, mushroom. Pronounced nose. Very enjoyable. Had consistent 11 bottles so far. A good wine producer.
