Fat nose of stewed prunes and white pepper, becoming curry after the bottle had been open for a while. Palate is a bit absent, but a nice long finish of black cherry / maraschino and white pepper again. Very traditional, not a modern bone in it's body.

Sydney Burgundy Celebration (Sydney, Australia): Earth, musk and some meaty notes. Rich fruit on the palate, has kick and length with some gripping tannins. Very good!
