  Very tasty. Intense, dark, brooding aromatics reminiscent of plums dusted with bakers' chocolate emanate from the glass. The aromatic intensity is mirrored in the attack, where blackberry compote, cocoa, and eucalyptus flavors fan out across the mouth in a juicy yet pleasantly coarse manner - giving a sense of, forgive the oxymoron, polished rusticity. Sweet, ripe tannin; and coconut-y oak provide a nice framework for the open, generous fruit flavors. Really, really good now, and certainly has the structure for short to medium term aging, but with the immediate gratification, why wait?
