Undeniably good pinot. Took a few hours to open up, but was really expressive after that. Pretty light-bodied (which is a plus, imo), so not the fruit syrup you sometimes find from warmer growing areas.
Really just delicious stuff. Highly recommended for a pretty reasonable tariff

Very nice pinot and a great food wine. Light in color and medium- in body, with medium + acid and authentic pinot noir flavors all grounded with an earthy note.

Has only a ruby color and medium body, but the acidity is very bright and the flavors are surprisingly complex and strong. The flavors center on red cherry and pomegranate, and go well with a wide variety of foods. Closer in style to the red wines of Burgundy than the Pinots of of the New World. Overall, shows how a Pinot Noir can be enjoyable without delicious fruit or a silky texture. Becker does make darker, deeper, and richer Pinot Noirs than this entry level estate wine that do compete with the best of New Zealand, Burgundy, California, and Oregon.

Nice light spice, sap, baking spices and slight herbal note (star anise); upfront fruit with bruised strawberry and slight stem and licorice in the finish; medium body, New Zealand like with better balance.

Smokey fruit nose and palate. Light bodied, very pleasant, hint of acids. A nice entry level pinot.
