Not sure what to make of this…Initially, quite tannic but that dissipated quickly. Overall, it seems quite primary. But there is something about the fruit that isn’t quite right. At times, it seemed sour. At others - artificial. Some quality elements, but not Grand Cru class and not Perrières earthiness. We shall see.

Mature raspberry, dark cherry, notes of sous bois; firm and muscular, showing age, but still good fruit and good extension After 30 Minutes: Fairly quickly loses both fruit and life, though still with a notable structure, but overall less pleasing

So smooth. Brought to Jay's dinner party in N.H. It was the star of the party, second only to the 2006 Andersons Conn Valley Eloge.
