  After letting it sit for awhile this wine really opened up. Very smooth, clean and fresh. Slightly oaky. Much different from a Napa chard, but still very good. Enjoy.

  Greenish gold. Stinky nose, cabbagey at first, then giving way to honeyed yellow fruit, lemon curd, smoky wet stone. Full bodied, monolithic fruit, citrus and honey, fennel-aniseed. Crisp finish, integrated oak, decent length. Just slightly let down by grapeskin acidity. I would say that it's an unmistakably Italian white wine: neutral and not overtly varietal, which is good, whilst lacking a spine of uncompromising acidity, which prevents it from making a real impact. Nice, in its category.

  Actually it's a Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay blend and SB is kinda apparent on the nose which is a bit vegetal. In the mouth, apple (a bit cream) and mineral kick in. Medium finish. Nice blend.
