Three years later this wine has come into its own. Moderate bricking. Generous nose with good Cabernet Franc character on the palate. Very harmonious. My only complaint is a clipped finish. This should be good for another two years. Great bargain at $13 from WTSO.

A clear, medium dark ruby in the glass, the nose beckons with cherry, rhubarb, citrus, Provencal herbs, and pencil lead. Bright, high-toned and acidic on the palate, trending toward red alpine currant, with medium intensity and concentration. Somewhat short finish. Just starting to open up now, this should improve steadily over the next few years. Not a long-termer, but solid mid-week choice.

Drinking in its prime. Pronounced Cab Franc nose. A bit austere on the palate, but in a good way. Good QPR at $13.

Past prime. Glad it was my last bottle. Ok on initial open but leftovers on day two were quite musty. Almost corked, but wasn't noticeable on day one.

Followed 3 bottles of Barolo and was still tasty!
