41% Syrah, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Malbec, 8% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot; dull garnet to rim; a little reductive, plastic, raw meat, floral, some vanilla; nice tart red fruit, currant, some pepper, nice texture; good.

PNP, warm up wine for Grilled TriTip! Cooler vintage, still seems to have nice acidity. Nice oak. The usual dark fruits. Finish is not super long but still enjoyable for a wine at this price point. Not a superb wine but still a very enjoyable bottle.

A very basic wine. I find myself looking for something more from it every time I have it. I liked it best at the tasting room in Woodinville. Have had 4 or 5 bottles. The fruit is over powering the tannins and oak flavor. I don't feel the wine is 'bad', but it's style doesn't match the grape profile. Over 80% Syrah/Cabernet Sauv/Malbec total and tastes thin. Needs more oak and tannins IMHO. Careful pairing with food as its density is more close to Pinot Noir.

Slightly smoky red berries, good underlying tartness to the smooth exterior, a nice food friendly style, though fully priced for what it is.
