At first, I was wondering if there was a lot of meunier on that due to the funk, but then the wet cardboard showed up. All the more sad that this was corked, since I thought when I tasted it that this had a lot of good stuff.

nose: not super interesting, but biscuit and unripe stone fruit are present. palate: well made, this doesn't wow me. Long finish, but the flavors are lemon-citrus and not much else. Unexciting, but solidly made.

First Champagne I've enjoyed from a magnum in quite some time. Wow! Deeper, more complex experience on the palate. Highly recommended.
