  • Double decanted 6 hours prior to drinking. Dark and opaque from core to rim. Nose of mocha, vanilla, pancake syrup and Oak with underlying blue and black fruit. Tasted like chocolate covered raisins drizzled with syrup. Strong tannins present leading to a long and dry finish. Very interesting wine crafted by Del Dotto and it made everything else tasted that night and for a few days after to be boring and simple. Not an everyday wine but one that is very good now but could become something spectacular with some cellar time. According to Dave Del Dotto there is only one barrel of this juice produced.
