  Dark cherry color. Lovely bouquet of cherries, plums, cedar, smoke, traces of cinnamon. Needs a minute to open on the palate, but delivers a pleasant jammy, oaky mouthfeel with med to high tannins. Some rough edges on the finish. The fruit is there, and while it's overpowered by the tannins, they begin to subside with time. Have this with food: jamon, manchego, grilled octopus, or steak with chimmichurri.
