  Dense, purple-red in colour. Decanted and aired for 3 hours. Served with hamburgers. Lotsa cassis on the nose, with graphite and a hint of tobacco. Sweet fruit on the palate, present but well integrated tannins adding a welcomed structure to the intense primary fruit. Clearly a Bdx-blend but with a new world touch. With this said, shares many features of the Gaja Magari 2006. If I had any bottles left, I would have waited 3-5 years for the next bottle, to see if more complex flavours develop.
