Had my OMG moment with Burgundy last night at the new Marchesa restaurant which was a fabulous, fine-dining experience - a sure-thing future with the Michelin Man. The wine was nectar of the gods. I been to Burg. and I've had some big names, but nothing hit my palate like this. It's actually, Ponsot Domaine & Selection Charmes-Chambertin 2010. This opens your taste buds to your ears! Uncanny that it can have this much fruit and taste and not be a fruit bomb. WOW.

Ok, so I don't have any patience; we've got 11 more to wait on. So good - but will get so much better with 5 more years at 55 degrees. This has the stuffing to be truly great in time.
