This is a really nice cdr blanc displaying rich tropical fruit flavors with undertones of nutmeg and oyster shell. Not a wine to contemplate, but rather one to drink and enjoy for what it is, and at the $10 a bottle I paid, this has an extraordinary qpr.

A blend of 35% Grenache Blanc, 25% Roussanne, 15% Marsanne, 15% Viognier, and the last 10% Clairette and Bourboulenc.
Pale to medium honey/straw. Incredible aromatic perfume on the nose. On the second sniff there's a honeydew melon, as well, you can almost taste the sweet melon, just from the nose.
The palate is gorgeously complex, with a crisp minerality, and taste-bud-puckering acidity that makes your mouth party. Tannins both front and back on this one, and various citrus and honey. There's almost a hint of a sort of noble rot on the palate.
The 30-plus second finish is very enjoyable also.
And for $13??? Are you kidding me?? Wow, amazing...
