-- Semillon Blanc; Semillon Gris; Palomino; Chenin Blanc; Muscat de Alexandrie --

NOSE: moderately expressive; light banana; mineral; simple.

BODY: clear; light, tan-yellow color; medium bodied.

TASTE: very steely; 14.5% alc. can be tasted and felt a bit; super minerally; very dry; edgy; unique; not big/fat/sweet/soft; lots of light flavors: tropical fruits; banana; rose water; very light cherry/strawberry water flavor; hint of creamy oak; kind of simple. From vines planted between 1900 & 1928 -- all still on own rootstock, and no phylloxera. More interesting than good. Bad QPR at $50.
