Decanted 30min. Tasted at 15min intervals. Glorious! Deep, dark, inky, fully saturated wine. Loved it. We started with the Rauzan-Gassies followed by C. Palmer paired prime rib at The Knick. Such a well balanced, structured yet subtly complex wine. Highly recommend.

Had at Wine Club with turkey. Perfect cork removed with butler’s friend. Deep red colour. Red and black berries, forest floor and cigar box. A lovely delicious wine at its peak. Enjoyed by all. Not sure it will get any better.

Drank at Champetre for my 65th. Decanted an hour or so before dinner, and another 45 mins at the table. Very aromatic nose of berries, leather, earth and pencil shavings. Medium weight, a bit lacking in fruit, mostly tertiary notes presently: leather, baking spice, mushrooms. Enjoyable but I saw few if any of the superlatives noticed by many of the CT reviewers here. Perhaps the bottle was not up to snuff.

We drank this elegant wine with a wonderful meal at Bricks Reno. It opened up nicely after about 1.5 hours. It may not yet be at its peak but was full-bodied, dark berry with leather aftertaste. One of the next wines in my cellar!

Lots of earthy & barnyard notes with spice box black & red fruits medium acidity in a full body with a long finish. A perfect example of an aged Bordeaux. Definitely at peak. Drink up.
