  Pinky red. Like all the YYs this was very old world style and stylistically correct, so, after pondering, tar and roses was the only description that fitted. There were some reductive rubber notes, but being a new wine, that should blow off. Medium acidity that builds. Brambly fruit on the palate. Lots of fine tannins. Good length. Swimming with tannins on the after taste.
