Medium garnet. Coffee grounds, cedary, dusty nose with basil, with some berry-ish fruit tagging along; my, that's one oaky nose. Low acid, low tannin. Supple textures and much smooth oak in the mouth lead to some remaining blackberry fruit. Finished a little short but with sweetness. An orphan bottle I lost in the cellar among cabernets of similar age. A nice surprise that it's still drinking wel and reminds me of why I called Leonetti the Silver Oak of Washington twenty years ago.
