  • Light in colour. Nose of buttery oak and nondescript fruit. Palate was medium acidity, and full of oak. This wine was not very focused.

  • “Mixed Bag of Spanish Whites”-Tasting, Wine 1 (non-blind), in January 2014. Press cork. The wine was pale yellow-green in colour and offered some floral notes, citrus, red apple, pear, some peach and almond on the nose. On the palate the wine showed citrus, lime, neutral white stone fruit aromas, green apple, pear and bitter almond, paired with medium-level acidity and good length of the bitter finish. The medium-bodied wine tasted fairly neutral, did not have enough fruit to balance the alcohol and acidity, and seemed somewhat disjointed. Drink now.

  • Clean, pale lemon colour with dense tear. Clean, medium- intensity developing nose with aromas of dry apples, neutral stone fruit, anise and hints of mint. Dry, medium acidity, medium warm unbalanced alcohol, medium body and medium- intensity flavours of green apple, peach, mint and anise. Medium- finish. Interesting texture in the mouth, but it's very neutral and austere. Poor/acceptable quality wine. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.
