Aging nicely. On the lighter and more elegant part of the spectrum of Rhys pinots. Bright juicy fruit, dried leaves, mushrooms, soda. Not the most complex wine, but very tasty.

Last bottle of this and among my oldest Rhys bottles. My last bottle six years ago was pretty spectacular in terms of its fruit/secondary balance. This has just...faded a bit without becoming more complex. Lovely wine as is, but more of a note to myself w/r/t to aging Rhys. I don't have a huge sample size, but I feel like I tend to prefer Rhys's pinots in the 7-10 year range. The Hillsides may push that out a bit.

This was terrific. Light textured, but deep. Wonderful, long finish. This still has plenty of life left.

Terrific. Still lovely and lively acidity to balance out matured fruit, particularly strawberry and cherry. Velvety, soft, full and elegant.

Delicious sour red cherries with earth and orange rind notes on the nose and palate with a long savory finish.
