Had three bottles with friends. can still get the cherry, red fruit taste, but the ruby color is gone to a more orange and indeed, it should be drunk now and not later

Purchased on release for $16. In retrospect a terrific value, as this bottle provided much pleasure and character. Pretty black cherry and white pepper on the palate and a meaty streak on the finish. Quite balanced, with tannins and fruit working in easy-drinking sympatico. Definitely ready to drink and probably at our slightly past its peak. Probably 88-89P on its own, but upped it to 90P because of it paired so well with with beer can chicken with fresh herb butter tucked under the breast skin and rubbed with Cavender's Greek Seasoning.

Very light-colored ruby red color. Brambly sticky berry fruit flavors, with a trace of white pepper. I was impressed by the level of ripeness and lack of funk. Tannins are unobtrusive and in the background, providing pliable structure. Ready to drink now. Nice value for $16.
