Lighter and more restrained than I expected across palate and nose. Aromas of black fruit and a little vanilla note. Velvety texture with ripe fruit and a lingering dark chocolate and vanilla oak flavour on the finish. Nice flavours but really lacking some structure in either tannins or acidity.

hard pressed to find a better malbec at this prince point. exceptional nose which i agree does surpass the palate a bit.
nose: sugary baked fruit-blueberries, raspberries, cherries. a hint of lemon pepper and dried baking herbs. Milk Chocolate. hint of vanilla
opens up quickly
Palate: lush fruit right as it hits your tongue. think cherry pie filling. rich, but not tart; not sweet. acidity is just right and it finishes with black tea like tannins. dry but round. admittedly a short finish.
great nose and fruit upfront but lacking some structure. i give it a high score considering all the tart or acidity-lacking malbecs out there at this price point. what an excellent bottle to have on hand to fit a variety of dishes or occasions.

Big fruit forward jammy malbec with good acidity and tannins. Slight mineral after note on the finish.

Vintage Wine Store Tasting (Pinecrest, Miami, FL): Sweet, jammy. Blood color, and slight taste like blood.
