PnP, the nose is heavy on cherry and plums with some earth tones thrown in, same for the palate. On the edge of flabby, it is saved by enough acidity to give it a pleasant bite. Pair this medium bodied, medium length finish wine with food and you will enjoy it more.

Short impressions: Bright, has this cherry + velvet character that I associate with good St. Laurent (not the silk of Pinot Noir). Better on Day Two. Excellent. Drink or hold.

Love this wine. More medium (to medium+) bodied and a bit deeper in colour than I remember. Smoky and bursting with undergrowth and tomato-stalk aromas. The palate is silky, complex, and rewarding with more integration and length as it opens up. Likely to improve, though it's already delicious.

Delightful. Aromas predominantly of smoke and ripe stems, tinned asparagus, undergrowth and funk which follows through to a slippery, medium-bodied fruity palate. Medium acid, interesting yet uncomplicated, but just plain delicious. I could see the aroma putting people off but I adore it.

Rootstock 2014: Cherry, graphite, earth and spice. Lighter-medium bodied plenty of spice character on the palate too. Has some length to it as well. Pleasant.
