Decanted for one hour. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, currant, mocha, graphite, anise and spice. Black and red fruit, black olive, graphite, anise and spice flavors. Long, layered finish. Full bodied. Excellent for the vintage. Served with reverse seared strips with green peppercorn cream sauce.

Decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, currant, black olive, baker’s chocolate, licorice and spice. Black fruit, chocolate, spice and fine tannins on the palate. Finishes with good length. Full bodied. Very good for the vintage. Served with reverse seared strip steaks and a mushroom cream sauce.

Came across some bottles in the secondary market at around half price of the current Winery direct price and decided to revisit from years ago. Dark ruby fruit - dark cherry, currants/cassis, and a little blackberry. Smooth mid-palate with a nice purity but a lighter profile than expected - medium body. Nice rich flavors of dark berries, some spice, and a little cocoa. Decent finish but not overly long nor deep. Popped/poured but drank out of a decanter for a couple hours. Not much improvement with time but drinking pretty well right away. Like the 2011 Myriad Dr Crane cab, one of the better 2011 cabs that I’ve had but probably my least favorite vintage of this wine that I’ve had. 92/93 for me at this stage. 100% cab.
