Rich red fruit, black cherry, very clean. With air, some stemminess comes out. Still a lot of stuffing to develop for years, but for now it's well balanced, and tasty.

Okay but doesn’t blow you away. Quite astringent at the moment But there is still some fruit there so it may come together a little better. Fingers crossed

HDH Burgundy Auction; 4/13/2018-4/14/2018 (Chicago, IL): Surprisingly woody and stemmy on the nose; it's almost coming across almost a little green. Thinner red fruit on the palate, with a little bit of astringency. Not particularly enthralling, especially coming from a producer that I generally love so much.

Wines tasted at HDH Celebration of Burg Auction - Day One: Ripe black cherry nose with good meaty and light wood notes. Really nice rich silky texture. Rich fruit with good stem notes. More toasty than I would have guessed but suspect it will integrate.

Fine Vines Fall 2015 Portfolio Tasting (City Winery - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Ripe red and black cherry with great spice and sauvage. Long and powerful with similar flavor profile. Attractive aromas are more accessible than the palate, which has great potential, but needs another 5 years in the cellar, 91-92 point potential here.
