54,5%. Very strong in every respect. It takes a bit of water to dilute this stuff. Full of dark rum flavours and spice. Looks serious and not made up with sugar, loads of caramel etc.

Comme première impression, le rhum est assez ordinaire, manque de rondeur et de complexité (89), Avec un long contact a l'air, ce rhum devient très doux et développe une bonne complexité

WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: This is clear with a medium amber colour. Nose: The nose is clean showing pronounced intensity aromas of baked banana, toffee, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit (prunes, dates), toast. This is matured. Palate: This is off-dry in the mouth with warming alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavours of figs, prunes, bananas, coffee, caramel, toast, cloves. The finish is long and very complex. Conclusion: It is an outstanding quality spirit. Good balance, good concentration, lots of complexity, long finish. Premium price £32.49

nose - molasses, fruity, tropical fruit, pineapple, malty, lots of spirit some sweet flavours, vegetal, lots of spirit, fiery Some water makes it more harmonious, the nose has a little chocolate A little peppery at the end This is nice, good freshness too, not cloying at all. Elegant Good length After a while I get honey, walnut and coconut on the finish. This is seriously good.
My bottle said product of Barbados on it rather than Guyana
