Quite golden color. On the nose: ripe apple, citrus fruits, caramel and a bit of cocoa and licorice. On the palate: ripe apple, citrus fruits, bread, dried apricot and a hint of cocoa and oak. Still decent acidity to it but was starting to get a little tired. Rather boring aftertaste.

£23/glass at 67 Pall Mall. Recommendation of the sommelier when we asked for the most biscuity champagne she had. Beautiful pastry-shop nose, browned biscuit, deep and complex.

Time has infused an element of nutty sweetness on the stonefruit, cream, and toast bouquet. The palate is taut and tensile, energetic and crisp, with lemon citrus flavors that are enhanced by vibrant acidity, a youthful bead, and a rich mousse. River rocks and minerals etch the long finish. This is still growing but it's already complex, edgy, and tasty.

Really a lovely bottle. Chantilly cream on the nose with crisp, slightly underripe aromas of nectarine, pear and white peach. On the palate, a lovely mousse with crisp acidity and lively bubbles with crunchy citrus and tree fruits with hints of a creaminess that is very nice.

Good color
Not quite as dry as I prefer. A nice champagne but not sure about price / value ratio
