  • Smoky char upfront, restrained cherry fruit, med thin cool climate mouthfeel, lingering spicy finish with fine tannins

  • This was certainly not my style of shiraz. Decently made, but not my style.

Stems/asparagus/cut grass and smoke aromas overwhelm the nose. There's hints of cherry fruit buried deep beneath, but you have to work to get them.

It's pretty green on the palate, with thin cherry fruits and spice too. Medium bodied with short to medium length. The fruit just seems a bit underipe and the whole bunch work overdone. It's not revealing terroir - it's obsuring it. A challenging wine to like.
