had with pork tenderloin, charred green beans marinated with teriki over noodles. Great pairing as the weight of the wine balanced with the tangy meal. Show more strawberries, peach and mineral and the acids that seemed lacking on it's own worked with the food.

After having a few French roses noticed this to be more creamy in texture and a little fat on the back end but neither of those are detractors just different styles. Enjoy this with the earthy notes, strawberries and creamy mouthfeel and still bummed this is the final vintage.

Looks like this is fading fast based on the reviews. I guess I have to concur because there just isn't much there. Rather flat and thin with just a tinge of fruit hanging on to the acidity. Not really comparable to Bandol, imho. I have more bottles that I will pop in the very near future and while we're having this December heat wave in So Cal. My first disappointment with a J Martinez wine. 5+8+14+6 = 83

It's a pity that Roses don't hold their flavor all that well for all that long. we had this a few months ago and it was great - nice dry, fruity, easy drinking Rose. Now there's a bit more of a sourness to it which detracts from the bright fruits. You can still taste them lurking - some strawberry perhaps - but then there's a bit of a sharp lemon which cuts in. Still enjoyable, but glad that we are working on drinking ours. Not sure it will make it to the summer (although it is such a great wine for hot weather - enjoying on the patio in Puerto Rico)...

Nice pale pink color. Starts well in the mouth, not much there though. Lacks the minerality that makes Rhone and Provence pinks so nice.
