Clear with a pale lemon color. The nose is clean with medium- intensity. Notes of melon, grass, citrus and yeast. The palate is dry with high acidity and light body. Flavors of melon, citrus, dairy and yeast. Medium finish.
I would call this wine only acceptable by WSET standards because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have picked it out blind as a Sauvignon blanc. It's a weird wine with little to none of the grapefruit you would expect and a creaminess that I would definitely never have expected. Has certainly been through malolactic fermentation and probably left on the lees and even stirred for an extended period of time. Doesn't taste like any Sauv blanc I've ever had. I'm not even sure I like it but it is very, very interesting. Sometimes that's enough.

great second bottle, much different than prior one. Lovely rendered fruit, zippy acidity, and overall balance. The minerality show throughout and is really a defining characteristic of this wine. The pleasant surprises from Ravines just keep on coming.

I didn't expect this to age well but I was wrong! Rich not quite honeyed notes along with the typical SB apple-type flavors. Very impressive!

Grapefruit rind and grass on the nose. Crisp but needs more acidity.

Creamy & tart. Pink grapefruit with some butter-caramel notes.
