The wine has medium acidity. It smells like cranberry, strawberry, red currant, tobacco, oak, forest floor and raspberry. The body is medium. The wine finishes long. It tastes like cranberry, strawberry, red currant, oak, forest floor and raspberry. The wine looks deep ruby colored. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The wine has silky texture.

Very nice first impression. Nose is a classic ST.EM, currents, blackberries and forest floor. Palette is bramble, berries and some minerality that give this enough acidity which combines with some notes of toasted oak and some vanilla. Long finish. Really nice. Has 3-5 years or really nice drinking.

Dark ruby in the glass with nose of forest floor, fresh rained on grass, and cherries. You can taste the sweetness of the fruit as it hits your tongue as it immediately turns to notes of herbs, probably thyme, and savory on the palate. Extremely smooth on the finish and the tannins linger for a while along with a bit of warmth from the alcohol. Very good wine but will try decant it for couple hours next time to see if wine opens up and brings out more of the fruit.

Ok, but unremarkable and kind of disappointing.

Decanted for an hour. It was a beef Bourgogne night and this went down very nicely!
