Wanted to hold onto one and give it a try. Not bad, but hoping it might do better. Became more "grapey" and less serious. Trying one more next year (why not).

Grade: VG. GSM for the Masses/Poor-man's Chateau-Neuf. This is a great every-day table wine for Rhone-addicts who don't want to pay the Rhone-bill every day, as it delivers a lovely fruity nose of berrys, black cherries and brambles and is lively and plush on the palate with some well-integrated tannins and good fruit and a nice spicy, mineral, gravelly finish . My Grades: EX-Excellent, VG-Very Good, G-Good, O-Ordinary, P-Poor, U-Ungraded

Complex for the price: raspberry, spice, tar, minerals, and a hint of licorice. The structure is all in place too with moderate tannins, propulsive acids, and the 14% alcohol contributing body without much heat.

Wanted to see if it would hold and improve. Not sure what is happening but it was really disjointed and out of whack.
