2003 Dry Riesling - Ten years after - Part Two: Amber coloured. In the nose with notes of spontaneous fermentation, some petrol, some green fruits (Kiwi, gooseberry), Crème Brulée, i.e. vanilla and caramel, lactic notes, some Sake in the background. Sort of peculiar. On the palate, this starts nicely with yellow fruit aromas, some tartness. In the back it is adstringend, a little bitter and spicy with lots of caramel and also notes of Caipirinha. An aromatic rollercoaster ride, too much for my nose and palate. It's lacking harmony.
