Had a couple glasses at a private dinner. First glass was served warmer than the second. Both were fabulous. The wine is in excellent drinking condition at this age. The cooler glass was more aromatic than the other. Quite interesting the contrast due to serving temperature and/or bottle variance. Paired with a wonderful pan roasted lobster dish with caviar, creamy whipped potato and Beurre Blanc sauce, amazing paring!

200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Apple cider, almost like a Chenin, interesting, but then Chard aromas coming into play. A strange one out in this flight but very good nevertheless. Buttery, lactic aromas on the finish. A bit rich but very good. 96+

Bright, vibrant, great thread of acidity. Batard pedigree but lacking a bit of weight in this vintage. But immensely drinkable.
