This bottle was definitely still intact, though I bought it on Wines ‘Til Sold Out so it may be bottle to bottle. The wine had decent acidity, some cherries and cranberries as well as a lot of herbs and wet earth. This may be at or toward the end of its development but it was fun to drink.

Coravin 8oz. This bottle was off. Medium Ruby. Volatile acidity, woody (not the spice of oak but twds the corked side of the spectrum (but i dont think it was corked)), hints of red berries. Not a lot on the palate with a disappearing finish.

PnP. Drinking on its own after dinner. Color is garnet fading to brick with a strip of orange at the edge. Aromas cherry, dust, wet dirt, light pepper, and with a bit of swirling some barnyard. On the palate thin, red fruit, acidic. Filling in some after being open and in the glass for 5-10 minutes. Legs are light+ to medium-, tannin is light, body is light+, acid is medium- leaving a mouth-watering finish. Good, definitely not great. 87 initially. This would pair with very light food or cheese. The wine did not substantially fill in over the course of the next 60-90 minutes.

PNP. Medium Ruby. Round, chunky, red fruit nose, background oak notes of coffee bean, wood and spice. Balanced on the palate. Not that complex but a decent everyday drinker. Pleasantly surprised given previous reviews.

Flat, no finish, doesn't deserve a 1er Cru rating
