This is not your typical Sauvignon Blanc. All estate fruit. Fermented and aged 6 months in 45% neutral French oak, 55% stainless steel. No ML. The nose is laden with notes marzipan, poached pears, Kumquat, quince paste, dried pineapple, plantain, toasted brioche, peach tea, baking spice and butterscotch. The palate is racy with sleek acid and mouth-filling textures. Dry and showing good fruit presence and the evolution of bottle aging with flavors of dried pineapple, quince paste, poached pears, kumquat, marzipan, baking spices of ginger and nutmeg, toasted brioche and white tea. The finish lingers with a touch of warmth.

Floral aromatics; citrus notes are present but not overwhelming; nice balance, acidity also does not overwhelm. To me, this is a smooth SB that would appeal to a chardonnay drinker who doesn't like the smack of grapefruit and grassiness of many SBs. A really good SB to pair with a richer seafood dinner.

ONE OF THE BEST SAUVIGNON BLANCS I HAVE EVER HAD! CREAMY BEAUTIFUL TEXTURE WITH LOADS OF CITRUS AND SUBTLE APPLE FLAVORS. COMBINED WITH CRAB LEGS AND BUTTER. DOESNT GET MUCH BETTER!
