Darkish red fruit, perfume, nutmeg, cinnamon, spice and herbs on nose and palate. It was ethereal with weightless power while unleashing great complexity and length on the palate. A very complete Bonnes Mares.

M&PD Dinner at Vendemmia. Drank this with a 1993 Meo-Camuzet Richebourg and 1996 Dugat Griotte-Chambertin, and imo it was the WOTN. It was just epic, starting with a nose that penetrated the sinuses. Beautiful balance. Fruit, tobacco, blood, salt.

M&PD Tasting: France (Seattle, WA, USA): OMFG, does a red Burg nose get better than this? Bloody, savory, umami, deep. This was utterly beguiling, stunningly, frankly indescribably complex, far beyond my feeble ability to describe the wine. Haunting, just haunting!

Another rock solid 97 from the same batch that displays red fruit, dates, wild berries, herbs, spices, earth and minerals. Round fruit with layers and depth. Drinking in a sweet spot now with 30 mins of air. A sublime bottle.

Consistently great for a Roumier Bonnes Mares with herbs, underbrush, earth and dark fruit. Powerful and layered.
