PnP then drunk over three evenings. Note taken on day 2. Light golden color, clear. Classic nose, pear and floral notes (lavender, elder flowers?). Fine and elegant. On the palate it has a very interesting taste - perhaps a bit of lavender as on the nose, with a saline twist. It has body, but is very lively at the same time. On the long finish a lemon note, mixed again with saltiness. Special and lovely.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA): Deeper golden; fat, rich, butter, butterscotch, a lightness in back of the intensity, lush and waxy, grilled lemon, almost verbena, maderizing a bit on the back but getting better with air; '05 Chablis?

Light yellow color. Lychee, quince and melon notes. Slight acidity, light in texture, with strong minerality and flintiness. Smooth texture left in the mouth after tasting not a 'velvety' chardonnay
