Light bodied with a crisp, red raspberry, acidic and mouthwatering. Served with chicken and egg stir fry with lots of garlic and ginger. Paired nicely with a medium finish.

Willamette Valley late June tastings: Savory aromas of mushroom, earth, anise and spice. Lithe and pretty on the palate with cherry, herbs de provence, and spice complexity. Fine silky tannin and juicy on the finish. Very nice.

Pre-Birthday drive in the Willamette Valley: Fresh and large fruit on the nose. The palate is tart, with more vibrant red fruits. Quite delicious on the palate, with a sexy round body. Lots of puckering acidity on the finish that carries long and deep. By far the best of the 2011's here, but still no where near the radar from a QPR standpoint. This wine was far better in 2010.
