A great example of how a good producer can make a great lower-end wine in the 2010 vintage. Nose of fig, black cherry and meat on the nose. Firm tannins, tons of fresh and snappy red fruit on the palate, along with charcoal and meat notes. I'd even lay this down for a year or two.

Loving the spice, meat and earth notes here. Lots of depth but shows approachability. Half Counoise, half Syrah.
