  • Russk. K+A brought it to the leftovers at Mustang. Clearly Pinot Noir, mostly old world aromatics, with a touch of New World fruit. Enjoyable, but not compelling. Then again I'm not a huge Pinot fan.

  • A good introductory Pinot Noir from Becker, whose vineyards share the limestone soil and slopes typical for Burgundy in France, and who makes even more concentrated and expensive Pinots. Transparent ruby in color for an inch pour, but the flavors in the nose and mouth are not light, frail, or sour. Instead, has inviting aromas of red cherry, a rounded texture, and a tasty black cherry. Overall, demonstrates the Germany can make Pinot Noirs competitive with appellations around the world that are more famous for their Pinots.

  • Very nice bottle. Slightly chilled with some grilled salmon, fingerling potatoes confit in geese fat, lime-smetana sauce and garlic charred zucchini. Perhaps thin on the mid palate and fruit by this stage muted, but elegant and very easy to drink. lovely effort and great qpr.

  • *From memory.
Lots and lots of pinot fruit on the nose, cranberries, strawberries and raspberries. A little oak, but less than I have come to expect from German Pinot Noirs. Some unexpected fizz on the palate, that somewhat ruins the wine for me. Medium+ acidity, light body and decent intensity. Not a bad wine, but for 150SEK this is a lacking some complexity and quality.

  • As good as last time! Spritziness has faded almost completely, more ripe strawberries, earth, blood oranges and lovely pinosity. Very new world pinot expression, wide open, drinkable and for immediate pleasure. Thinnish body, yes. But food friendly and fresh. And the pinosity-Bang for your buck can't be beat - at least not in Sweden.
