Good dark fruits up front, well balanced acidity and tannins. Fruit fades a bit at the finish, and not as spicy as I like my syrahs. Regardless, a nice syrah.

Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: Vineyard was planted in 1972. Impenetrable color. Smells like soapy bubbles... really, just quite soapy. The palate is very lean with a soft texture but not much expressiveness. Mildly stewed, alcoholic fruit on the finish.
