  This wine has reached such a perfect point in its evolution, where each element is discernible without overwhelming anything else. The fruit is red and fresh but accented with some purple floral notes. The tertiaries present like dark roast coffee and potting soil. A touch of grape stem rounds everything out. It's definitely softer than some other old-school Saint Joseph like Chave or Gonon, though.

  It took a while but this wine is now showing off. Fantastic nose of damp forest floor and dark fruit. Spice and dark cherries with the first taste. The wine really evolved from glass to glass. Delicate finish.
  I think the time is now for this wine.
