  • Delicious. A bit of petrol on the nose but plenty of fruit and mouthwatering saline finish.

  • Цвят на котешко пиш не е газирано като другия ризлинг дето го пих. В началото леко сладък вкус после обичайния аромат на тапа и мирис на вино от кутия.

  • The wine was well past its prime.

  • Blind tasted. I called youthful but others said developing, truth lies in the middle. Notes of apricot, honeysuckle, candied lemon, baked yellow apple, some oxidative notes, almonds, lemon curd, decayed yellow flowers. Acidity high, alcohol medium minus. I guessed Chenin, the oxidative notes took me there, I knew it wasn't German (though it did show some kerosene on revisit) and it didn't have the body/alcohol for most Alsace. Good wine, fav of the day.

  • Appearance: Clear wine with a pale lemon colour.

Nose: Clean nose with a Medium intensity. This wine is developing.

Crisp green apple and lime peel over emerging minerality; really typical Alsatian Riesling. That lovely smell of wet rocks is slowly fading to more chemical, kerosene notes which I would expect to gain intensity over the next few years. Very pleasant.

    Palate:
    Dry
    Medium acidity
    Medium alcohol
    Medium+ intensity
    Medium body
    Medium finish

Surprisingly little acidity on the palate contributing to a medium bodied dry Riesling; that all that common! The flavours are quite simple, mainly contributing Citrus and green apple and pear over a less pronounced minerality. Pleasant but not exciting.

Very good quality Riesling from Alsace. Can be drank now but should gain some complexity over the next 1-3 years before the acidity drops too low. At 14 euros a bottle, good QPR.
