A light ruby in colour. On the nose, lively red fruits with a touch of floral. Bright lively taste too with a touch more fruit than some Burgs from other villages (a characteristic of Chassagne Montrachet ?), still drinking pretty young considering its a 16 yr old wine. A very nice wine from a slightly less heralded vintage / village. 90-91pts

Suprisingly bright and lively, although not notably ripe, fruit both on the nose and palate tending toward raspberry-strawberry. Relatively lean overall. Some secondary characteristics but overall this gives an impression of being younger than it is. Not profound but tasty. I have no recollection of how I got this bottle of wine...
