The aroma is too gasoline. It is not fatty but monotonous lack of complexity. The lack of acidity and freshness is very unpleasant. Too much oak definitely. Not recommended at all.

During a Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin dinner. Golden yellow. Nose of quince, flowers, ripe, nuts, with vanilla and oak. Enters the palate unctuous and mature, still good acidity but the power of 2003 is clearly visible. Slight oxidative touch, drink up.

Very nice wine for a shrimp & scallop dinner at Jan and Shirley's. Viscous and straw yellow. As it opened there was honey, straw, ripe apples, and some minimality. Not a blow you away wine but very solid.
