  • Excellent AND interesting. This keeps yin-ing and yang-ing between "natural" and "typical" Macon chardonnay aromas. Mellow, savory and rich aromas of sherry, nut and smoke morph in to pure aromas of pineapple, pear, tiny white flower and old barrel. And back and forth and back and... you get the picture. Orange peal? That's a new one for a chardonnay. On the palate its medium bodied and pure with medium+ acid, a thickness at the 3/4 mark and a long, mouth watering finnish. Given its good balance and structure, I can see this going another 5 years easy. Maybe more.

  • This is perfect Chardonanny. Without a doubt, hands-down, perfect. The purity and essence of clean fruit and soulful terrioir linger and dig their way into the very core of your being. It is almost weird to say, but you just need to taste it for your self. I have also had the great fortune to taste older vintages of this wine and it is equally amazing in its youth as it is presently.
